Description
Combining elements representative of loved ones is integral to my work. Simultaneously working on multiple paintings informs their development collectively. In “We Are Family,” unique shapes and marks significant to loved ones are discovered and repeated. Three large white ovals symbolize my immediate family, standing united. Specific colors, patterns, words, and papers symbolize my family as a whole, creating a rich tapestry of tributes and justifying its fitting title.
