make an appointment

Do I need to make an appointment?

While you are welcome to drop into the gallery to talk about your framing needs we recommend that you make an appointment. This is to make sure one of our experts are available to discuss all the details about the framing and answer all your questions.

What kind of costs are associated with framing?

If only there was a simple answer to this question. We promise fair, honest pricing, and a fixed price quote will be issued before the job is started. That way the only suprise will be how great your piece works with it's new jacket on.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Please bring the piece you are looking to get framed with you. Although if it is enormous, we are happy to come to you and measure for you if you are in Fernie or Calgary.

Have inspiration photos? Definitely bring those.

A photo or two of the space you are wanting the piece to go is ideal. And watching the space throughout the day to establish how much direct sunlight there is allows us to take the necessary preservation measures to keep your art looking dapper forever and ever.

How long does it take to have a piece framed?

This is dependent on the type of framing required. Simple floater frame projects will take less than 2 weeks. Shadow box projects generally take 3- 4 weeks.

How do I hang my framed piece?

We make sure every piece we frame is ready to hang when you pick it up? We offer complimentary hanging of all pieces we have framed locally and in Calgary.

Do you stretch canvases?

Yes! Bring in your rolled up piece and we will stretch it over custom bars that fit your piece.

What is a shadow box?

Shadow box framing is the ideal way to showcase and preserve dimensional objects from baseballs to baby blankets and everything in between.

My piece is too big for my vehicle, what do I do?

Don't panic. We have the means to transport large pieces or we can come to you, whatever suits. Contact us and we can discuss options.
