Description
A one-of-one serving board made from live-edge walnut and three circular inlays of recycled skateboard maple.
A dark band of walnut heartwood runs through the centre of the board, framed by pale sapwood and the natural edge of the slab. Three circles move across the heartwood in descending scale, each revealing a different arrangement of colour and layered veneer.
The repeated forms give the piece a quiet sense of movement, while the changing patterns inside each circle show the material from a new perspective.
