The title is a tongue in cheek reference to a hair cut request of just a bit off the top. It seems nature has taken a bit more off the top of the tree on lookers right than a little.

The series is an exploration of this blanketed landscape, capturing the rolling layers of fog, clouds and mist with nine to fifteen layers of cold wax and oil paint, letting the light dance in the painted series throughout the day and into the night.
