Description
The Keystone is hand-turned from mahogany, purpleheart, walnut, oak, padauk, and maple,
arranged to create changing fields of colour, grain, and direction across the form. Deep facets cut
through the segmented construction, breaking the symmetry of the turning and revealing a
different composition from every angle.
A raised band divides the piece, while the pointed crown gives the stopper a distinctly
architectural silhouette.
The result is an object where construction becomes decoration — no added colour, no repeated
pattern, only the natural contrast of six hardwood species and the geometry of the form.
