Description

The Chef’s Knife is a one-of-one kitchen knife built around the contrast between precision steel and reclaimed material.

An 8-inch Damascus steel blade is paired with a hand-shaped handle made entirely from reclaimed skateboard decks, exposing dozens of individual layers of colour and maple. Brass pins and a mosaic centre pin add restrained detail, while the sculpted profile brings the handle comfortably into the hand.

Designed as an everyday kitchen workhorse, the broad blade and curved cutting edge are suited to slicing, chopping, and controlled rocking cuts. The Blackburl mark is engraved directly into the steel, completing a functional object intended to be used, maintained, and kept for years.

Natural variations in reclaimed skateboard material ensure that no two handles will ever be identical.
