A single line carried through grain, colour, and form.
Linje is shaped from white oak into a low, restrained form influenced by Scandinavian design. Its broad surface allows the natural grain to remain central, while a sweeping band of recycled skateboard veneer moves across the platter in one continuous gesture.
The veneer follows a gentle curve through the oak before revealing itself again along the outer edge. Seen from above, it reads as a quiet line of colour. From the side, the individual layers become more visible, showing the material’s construction and previous life.
Turned and finished by hand, Linje is both a functional serving piece and a sculptural object intended to remain on display between uses. Natural variations in the oak and reclaimed veneer make it entirely one of one.
