My life as an artist has come full circle, and I'm grateful for this point in my artistic journey. As a child, I constantly sketched and journaled, even 'doodling' characters on my basement walls. I spent hours drawing realistic animal images with pencils. In my youth, I was a competitive figure skater, allowing my artistic flare to shine in multiple ways. In 1999, I began painting on glass, initially creating unique gifts for family and friends. This small step blossomed into a business lasting 15 years. Although I loved painting on glass, my passion for bright colours led me to transition to canvas full time. Colour guides my art, and the sight of paint tubes makes me itch to create lasting memories.
I draw inspiration from the natural world around me hoping this is reflected in my work. Painting is an emotional and fulfilling way for me to live my life and I celebrate this every day.
