Description
Interlude is a one-of-one serving board made from live-edge walnut, maple, purpleheart, and reclaimed skateboard veneer.
Flowing purpleheart inlays move through the maple, while the walnut live edge gives the piece weight and warmth. Fine lines of skateboard veneer add small flashes of colour without taking over the design.
The board’s generous size and softly shaped edges make it well suited for serving cheese, charcuterie, bread, and other shared foods. When not in use, it can be left on display as a functional piece of art.
Each element is shaped and finished by hand in Fernie, British Columbia. The natural edge, wood grain, and reclaimed materials make Interlude entirely one of a kind.
